First, we want to congratulate the organizers of the conference and to express our joy of meeting some old and new friends. We want to salute especially our friends from UNDP Romania and to mention the important participation of the Romanian government, through the representative of the Ministry for SMEs, Business Environment and Tourism.

Mr. Dogan is a deputy director of the IICPSD and the president of PNUD Turkey for private sector. He has a vast activity in promoting business globally and he also contributed with over 30 public-private partnerships which are focused on developing human resources worldwide. He is also passionate about blogging and owns, where he is constantly publishing articles on CSR and sustainability.

Also, we have enjoyed the presence of our Associate Consultant, Ioana Szatmari, who presented his experience of work with some small enterprises in the field of social responsibility.

We had also the joy of meeting Mr. Paul Scott, a worldwide known expert in CR Reporting, who currently acts as Managing Director for Mr. Scott is involved in environmental reporting, CSR and sustainability since 1990, after 5 years of documentation activity in Berlin at the German Federal Environmental Office. He is one of the pioneers in CR reports, as he worked at some of the first such reports in United Kingdom. He was a member of ACCA in UK and the official representative of Sustainability Reporting at the European Awards.

CR.com2His current organization,, is the global corporate responsibility (CR) resources website and hosts the world’s most comprehensive directory of corporate non-financial reporting, profiling 23,000 reports across 116 countries. Therefore, the conference has been an opportunity to meet again with CSR professionals who have gained international validation and with whom we exchanged opinions about our field of work. For the future time we hope that these events will be as numerous as possible and will activate certain debates that are meant to improve the CSR field in Romania.
