Andreea Ghiocel is in charge with the planning, managing and monitoring of the non-financial reporting projects inside the agency. She graduated from the Maritime University of Constanta in 2012, the Environmental Engineering Faculty, where she coordinated for 4 years, the Environmental Protection Club. She took her Master degree in Environmental Engineering in Energetics, from the Politehnica University of Bucharest and currently she is in her third year of PhD, at the The Faculty of Power Engineering. She is certified as an Environmental Auditor and Civil Protection Inspector. She also graduated the PLM Adaptor training courses, where for two years she studied the implementation of product lifecycle management.
Her career path started 4 years ago as a Naval Engineer, when she had the chance to study naval design, for 2 months at SoGeSe Engineering, in Venice, Italy. The last two years she worked in energy efficiency and green technologies research, where she was part of a team that was developing and implementing projects whose main objective was to facilitate and promote cooperation between enterprises, businesses, educational institutions and other organizations.
During those two years she also taught as an assistant at the Ovidius University of Constanta. Having more than 7 years experience as a volunteer coordinator, three years ago she founded Life rEvolution, a non-profit organization, whose main purpose is to develop and implement projects that would improve the living conditions and provide access to education for disadvantaged children in the rural parts of Constanta county.
