 Manuela Meres in in charge of the elaboration and implementation of the Athenee Palace Hilton Bucuresti startegy.

Manuela Meres was involved in various projects, such as: „Earth Hour at Athenee Palace Hilton” (2010; 2011; 2012), „Easter Workshop” with children from „Robin Hood” and „Mia’s Children” associations (2010; 2011); „Charity Christmas Trees” for children from „Robin Hood” and „Mia’s Children” (2010; 2011); „Around the World in a Day” – sports and fundraising action, organized in Tineretului Parc, „United Way Romania” (2011); „Sustainable Challenge and Adventure at Hilton”, supporting „Light into Europe” organization which helps blind children (2011); „Small Change Big Difference” and „Ducks for Change” – fundraising campaign for the hotel’s guests through donations or the selling of rubber ducks (2010; 2011).

Manuela Meres started her career in Marketing and Communication in 2008 at Capgemini Romania consultancy company. She took over the Marketing and Public Relations responsibilities at Hilton hotel in Bucharest, since January 2010.

Approximatively 30% of her activities frame the social responsibility area. In the two years of activity, Manuela implemented social, sportive and environmental campaigns and the Hilton Hotel Bucharest won the sustainability competition in Worldwide Hilton for two years in a row and was elected „The most eco-friendly hotel from Central, Eastern Europe and Turkey” (2010; 2011).
