Teodor Mitrana

Manager training division

Teodor Mitrana is the manager of the training division for The CSR Agency and Programme Coordinator for the Global Compact Network Romania.

His formal educational background covers Marketing, Management, Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility: Master’s Degree in Responsible Management from Steinbeis University, Berlin (2012), and post-grad degrees in Project Management (2005), Human Resources Management (2004) and Customer Services Management (2002) from the Open University Business School in London.  He is also specialised in Online Marketing (2010), Process Communication Model (2009) and Creative Leadership (2008).

During his work at the British Council, he specialized in Change Management, Strategic Management (2006), Procurement Management (2005), Personnel Management (2003), Customer Relationship (2003), Diversity and Equal Opportunities (2003), Event Management (2002) and Information Provision (2001).

In 1998 he graduated the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest – Faculty of Commerce, gaining the Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.

Teodor is a founding member and currently the President of MaiMultVerde (MuchMoreGreen), a non-governmental, non-profit association specialised in environmental projects, having the mission to build a new culture of responsibility and volunteering for the environment in Romania. Since its launch in 2008, MaiMultVerde has worked with more than 25.000 volunteers to plant over 800.000 saplings, has conceived and implemented Cicloteque, the first bike-sharing system in Bucharest, Oradea and Timisoara, has rolled national awareness and educational campaigns and organised the first fundraising event for the environment, The Green Gala.

Teodor is constantly promoting environmental protection and corporate social responsibility through articles, conferences, interviews, to companies and the general public.

In 2007 Teodor Mitrana worked for “Save the Danube Delta” Association as CSR Projects Manager and Programmes Director. The projects he has designed and implemented brought the organisation the 1st prise for Environment Protection at the Civil Society Gala.

Between 1998 and 2006, at the British Council Comania, Doru held successively the positions of Customer Services Assistant (1998-2002), Public Relations Assistant (2001), Events and Customer Services Coordinator (2002-2004), Art Projects Coordinator (2005) and Administrative Director (2006).
